We are excited for our upcoming church retreat! Every year, we take some time as a church family to get away, rest, and get refreshed! We hope you can join us for this annual retreat at Frost Valley YMCA! Please make sure you complete a separate registration for each member of your family. Parents, please register your kids (any age) so that we can ensure we have all the information we need for childcare.

  • What’s the cost of the retreat?

Adults: $130/person

Child (infant – 4 years): Free

  • What does the cost cover?

The registration cost will cover your transportation, room, food (all meals except for Friday dinner), and retreat materials.

  • Are there any scholarships?

Yes! Don’t let the price discourage you from coming. We want you there! If you need a scholarship, please email Stan.

  • When is the last date to register for the retreat?

Thursday, October 19th.  We have to give the retreat center the final list of attendees coming by then!

  • What does accommodations / room & board look like?

All accommodations are cabin-style, with a single twin bed per person. Married couples and families share cabins, single men and single women are in gender-specific cabins.

Families should bring a pack-and-play for infants and smaller children.

  • What meals are covered? 

Healthy meals, from late night night snacks on Friday through lunch on Sunday, are included. You are responsible for Friday night dinner.There will also be an assortment of snacks provided by the church. There are also vending machines on the grounds, at the camp office, and coffee, tea and water available throughout the day.

If you have a dietary restriction or allergy, the camp is happy to accommodate it! Simply let us know on your registration form.

  • What will the weekend activity entail?

Each year’s retreat has a theme. This year’s theme is “One Another.” After registration closes, everyone registered will receive further information, including a packing list, agenda, and what to expect.

Some things we will do during the weekend: have worship and teaching/discussion, spend time in solitude and silence, play games, make s’mores, hike, shoot hoops, learn, laugh, lay in the grass, eat great meals, stay up late talking.

There will also be a Variety Show where you can showcase your talents to your Gallery Family!

Kids will have their own camp experience with trained and loving Staff during the day, spend free time with parents, and be cared for during the various sessions.

  • What time is departure from NYC and arrival back to NYC? And how will I get there?

There will be multiple church vans that will leave at various times on Friday night. If you are using the church van, please list your available time on the registration form. If you are planning on riding up to the camp site in your own vehicle, feel free to arrive anytime after 5pm on Friday.  Just make sure you take care of dinner before/after you reach the camp facility.

We will depart camp at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 29th.

If you would like to use your own vehicle, please let one of the pastors know and we will reimburse you, with a pre-set amount, for your gas.
