“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

-2 Corinthians 9:7

As we look towards the upcoming year, we are challenging everyone that loves the Gallery to look beyond ourselves and give generously towards the needs of others. This invitation to give above and beyond our regular tithes and offerings, is an invitation to financially sow into this community of faith and our neighbors.

We invite you to prayerfully consider how you can contribute towards the $30,000 goal before December 31st.  Thank you for your love and generosity.

Check out the information below to see where this year’s Christmas Offering will go towards. None of the funds raised will be used for operational costs — they will specifically be used to help the Gallery be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to NYC.

GOAL: $30,000

This Christmas Offering will be supporting the following initiatives:

Loving Our Neighbors

We seek to grow our partnership with Covenant Mercy Mission and support this organization that feeds over 200 families a week in our neighborhood.  We also are desiring to hold an Arts & Theater Workshop for the kids in our neighborhood and local public school, Chelsea Prep, to learn about acting, drama and dance during their spring or summer holidays!  We saw the impact of loving our neighbors through Summer in Chelsea where over 350 people in our neighborhood experience the love of Christ in a tangible way.  We want to continue that with new initiatives in Chelsea.

Benevolence Fund

Scripture teaches us that to be the church, we must make sure there is none among us that has need.  This fund is the most practical way we are able to be the church and bear one another’s burdens by providing support through financial assistance.  Whether it is money for groceries, rent, family funeral expenses, medical emergencies or anything in between, this fund provides the immediate financial resources needed to help members of this community get through the storm.

Growing in Christ’s Image

As the church, we are called to be salt & light in NYC. To that end, we are wanting to host specific workshops that deal with personal spiritual growth like address issues like race, mental health, career and marriage. We also are seeking to expand our CORE groups and provide intentional discipleship courses on a weekly basis for people who seek to grow in their walk with God and see specific ways of living out their Christian faith in NYC.
